Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us on inoo@impactful-learning.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The costs of the education programme is covered by our ILG CSR Learning fund. This can range from £4,000 to c.£25,000 per learner, over the term. This is generously provided by our donors to the fund.

The learner's employer must give them time to undertake their studies during the working week. The course is designed to be integrated alongside the day job, with an average expectation of 4-5 hours per week.

The courses typically can be anything from 12 months duration through to 48 months; with a project at the end to help the learner evidence their learning, in order to be assessed and to get their qualifcation. There are not formal exams, just evidence based assessments.

The learners need to commit to the training course over the term. These courses are not a few days. They range from 12-36 months, all be it part time, requiring c.4-5 hours per week (on average).

These courses are specifically set up for people who are in employment and who have not studied for a long time. Whilst not applicable to everyone, there is 1-2-1 coaching support for all learners, as well as additional help in areas such as maths and english (functional skills) where needed. In your meeting with the learning coach prior to starting,English all of this will be explored to ensure you are comfortable with the level of support.

We find that these formal learning programmes, when fully supported, create retention, progression and incresed loyalty from the learner to the organisation, as well as the many capability and performance uplift..

You will be assigned a learning coach who will be with you all the way, helping you, providing support, and explaining the topics. You will also have peer group learners to talk to and engage with also, should you so wish.
